Problem Description

When trying to start the IM Monitoring Service a prompt box comes up as Picture 1 shows.

Problem Solutions

Open the Event Viewer on the machine that has the IM Monitoring Service installed to see what type of error occurs during the initializing event.


  • Error
    The alarm plugins folder does not exist or is not accessible for this service.

    Solution
     - Update the SystemParameter AlarmPluginsFolder with the correct path to the plugin folder. (default: %Integration Manager installation folder%\IM Monitoring Service\plugins).
     - If the folder is missing add the folder.
